Sources emailed the highlighter at provisohighlighter@hotmail.com stating School Board President Emanuel "Chris" Welch registered his relative for classes at Proviso West High School using his address. The student's mother is, Denise L. Daniels, who is employed as security officer at Proviso East High School and is not a resident of Proviso Township. Sources say the minor child cursed teachers daily and started fights in the classrooms at Proviso West and often stated, "F... You, I'm kin to Chris Welch." Sources say the child was transferred to Proviso Area Exceptional Children (P.A.E.C.) in Maywood. Sources believe the child was kicked off the school bus because of his rotten behavior. Sources say the school bus picked up the child from the house of School Board President Welch on Oak Ridge street in Hillside. Teachers at Proviso West were thrilled when learning the student transferred.
Can non-resident employees bring their children to school? Why did School Board President Emanuel "Chris" Welch and the school board approve a $45,000 contract for the National Investigations company to investigate residency and he is violating the school residency policy? Is Mr. Welch exempt from investigation because he is the school board president?
