The highlighter has learned that newly elected Regional Superintendent Charles Flowers will start his new position on July 1, 2007. One of his job functions is to remove any members of a school board for failure to perform official duties. Sources say School Board President Emanuel "Chris" Welch, the author of the Insider, is "losing his rabbit mind" fearing Dr. Flowers will put an end to his shenanigans at District 209. Dr. Flowers is well-respected throughout Proviso Township and is truly concerned about educating our children.

I am very upset at the way the supposed, Progressive Party is politically spinning everything in our town. The seem to be on an agenda to constantly ridicule the mayor and Mr Luciano in every way, shape or form. It is very tiring....and mostly untrue. I am not saying that I agree with everything that our Village board does, what I am saying is that they are not doing anything different than what they are complaining about.
The Broadview Adult Club story...they made a complete political issue with out casting blame where blame should be....on the Village Manager. It is HIS responsibility to communicate information he learns to all of the board members. I think this is why we have a Village MANAGER form of goverment...instead they blame Mayor Gattuso. It's not his job to call everyone and alert the parties involved, it is the managers. (correct me if I am wrong). Needless to say this is NOT how it is all portrayed on the Progressive Party Website of Lies.
Why didnt they call Mr gattuso when they heard about it to join forces and get the word out? I bet because they only wanted to try to make him look bad. They dont want to work together. The are loners trying to manipulate a system for there own needs and political gain.
Mr "Open and Honest" Richard Fox wants everything out front and open, however he made his "blog for public forum and dscussion" private to his select few. I guess he really doesnt want to hear from people who's opinion differ from his. If this would have been anyone else, he would have wanted a GRAND JURY HEARING into it.
Also, the release of the attorney. They post all of the information that would make it look negative on the situation but fail to say that Mr Edmonds was a Village Trustee with Mr SInde and made a deal to become the village attorney if he would resign from the board. Why dont they talk about that? Why dont they say that Mr Edmonds is a supporter of the Progresive Party...that is why they are concerned. Why dont they say that he billed the village excessively and has provided MIS-INFORMATION on the Prairie issues as well as other things over the past years. Mr Bikelman and Mr fox have both commented on these things over the last few years at meetings but are now unaware of why he was released. Are we seeing a pattern of lies and deception on Mr Fox and Mr Casey's part?
What did Mr Casey ever do anyways except go along with everything that Mayor Sinde wanted? Now he wants back? He used to even roll his eyes at Mr Fox's comments...I witnessed that in the audience myself...but now he will run with him.
My husband and I see a bunch of hypocracy with Mr's Fox and Mr Casey (and Mr Buikema). We dont know anything about Mr Boyle...he seems like a nice lad...but who knows.
I just can't see how grown men who say they want to move the Village forward continuously stop they flow of information and movement for their own enrichment. they like to hear themselves talk and rant and really make themselves out to be people they are not.
I just hope more people see this before they go vote in APril...I know I am trying to tell as many people as I know.
I hope you can post this and we can see if any others feel the same way.

...but even with this statementon his BLOG, Mr Fox and Mr Bikleman want to Approve Mr Manzo's request for a "Social Club" a non-tax-producing entity on Roosevelt Rd across from the Village Hall...Is this because Mr Manzo is a supporter of Mr Fox and Casey?
I guess it is OK to be political when it is for their benefit.

I disagree with Anon 3:55 and concerned resident about Mr. Fox,Casey,Boyle and builkemas, They have stood up to Chris Welch's attempt to bring a strip club to Westchester and Broadview.Welch,Luciano,Gattusso and Sloan where very aware of the club's intent and were playing "stupid" and unaware until Fox,Builkema found out and fought hard and successfully to stop the Cris Welch and Serpico strip club!
It's amazing that Chris Welch is the lawyer reprensenting another strip club/adult bookstore who is trying to plant there morally corrupt way into another village in Proviso,yet Welch,who happens to be a 209 board member,see's no problems with it,and even less than a problem with it being in a black community.So to anon or concerned residetn,your probably the same person, and we know your either Don"6 votes" Sloan or Chris"the Porn man" Welch,get a life and go find someoine else to blame for your small dick syndromes!

"It’s my opinion that almost the entire District 209 board needs to go including the board president. However, I would like to focus on Theresa Kelly whose limited usefulness to the district is long passed and is now far exceeded by her stubborn insistence upon and extraordinary degree of avarice and entitlement. The proven theories of Galileo and all subsequent astronomers notwithstanding, the world revolves around Theresa Kelly, according to Theresa Kelly.
Theresa Kelly should take another Proviso-funded trip to Disneyland and stay there permanently with her intellectual cohorts, Mickey and Daffy. It would be well worth it to District 209 and its constituents to get her the hell out of here for good. She is a parasite whose chief concern seems to be what the district can do for her rather than vice versa. Her tenure as a board member has been long overdue to end and should come to an abrupt halt just as soon as possible. Rather than a gold watch, I would suggest that the district honor her departure by giving her several gallons of gift-wrapped embalming fluid (which, judging from her frequent “Night of the Living Dead” appearance, she has already been imbibing on a regular basis) as an act symbolic of her contributions to District 209 and its students over the last several years.
Additionally, I propose that Theresa Kelly’s photo, with wig customarily misaligned and eyes customarily askance and clouded, be posted on Proviso East’s “Wall of Shame”. In keeping with the tradition that Theresa Kelly has established, the location of the “Wall of Shame” can be kept a secret as well as the costs of implementing and maintaining it.
If I read the tone of District 209 constituents correctly, her departure will create little "public skeptical"; for all intents and purposes, the dimly lit light has been on and flickering but no one has been home for a very long time"!

I hope that Charles Flowers will do a good job. This is our chance to show that African Americans can run a business and not turn it into a ghetto (district 88/89/209). Be careful when you ask for change because you may be changed.....Interesting, maybe we could do a history of any board member who has given patronage contracts or hiring. I can't wait....
Hey Carl, Did anyone here about the custodian at SD88 who hit a lady on school ground property? It is confirmed that it was Maria Casterjon`s live-in fiance !! Maria is also trying to cover up the accident because her fiance-custodian was under the influence and thats why the lady has sued SD88. This is what you get when you hire relatives and spouses..Go back to Stone Park Maria, joe & juan>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Stop hustling our childrens money.
